I’m Paul Cowhig, a Cork based photographer and videographer.

I grew up in Kinsale, Co. Cork, and discovered photography at an early age. After a decade working as a carpenter, I turned my lifelong passion into my profession. Today, I bring the same craftsmanship and attention to detail into my photography and video projects, combining technical skill with a creative eye.

I’ve been a professional photographer for over 20 years, including more than 15 years as Director of Photography at Wavebreak Media, a leading international stock media company. Those years gave me the chance to travel all over the world, collaborate with amazing people, and grow immensely as a creative. I’m grateful for that experience, many of the images featured on this site were created during that time, and the lessons I learned continue to influence how I approach every project today.

I’ve had the privilege of helping families, professionals, and businesses across Cork and Ireland with creative family portraits, professional headshots, and video production. My work is all about capturing people naturally, whether it’s the warmth of a family moment or a polished image for your career or business.
